Three years have passed since Travis Touchdown became the top assassin in the United Assassins Association and walked away. Now, he returns to Santa Destroy and fights Skelter Helter, who seeks revenge on Travis for killing his older brother Helter Skelter prior to the first game. After winning the battle, he meets Sylvia Christel again, who informs him he is now ranked 51st. The dead Skelter interrupts them and warns Travis that he and his co-conspirators will still have their revenge. The same night, a group of criminals kill Travis's best friend, Bishop, and throw his head through Travis's window in a paper bag. Travis, furious and seeking revenge, asks Sylvia to set up the next fight. Sylvia tells him that the one who ordered the killing was Jasper Batt, Jr., the CEO of Pizza Bat and first-ranked assassin. In the first game, Travis stopped three different attempts by Pizza Bat (then localized as "Pizza Butt") to expand into in Santa Destroy by assassinating the CEO. In the three years since, with Travis out of the picture, Pizza Bat successfully opened a headquarters in Santa Destroy and bought out practically every business in town. Travis resolves to climb to the ranks to get a chance for revenge on Jasper. Travis fights and defeats cult leader Nathan Copeland. He then meets football star Charlie MacDonald and his cheerleaders, who transform into a giant mech called the Santa Death Parade. Travis defeats them in his own mech, the Glastonbury, built by Dr. Naomi and based on a mech from his favorite anime. He feels remorse for the cheerleaders, explaining that they were harmless, but backpedals after Sylvia offers to nullify his victory. He also spares the challenger Kimmy Howell, commenting that he "can't kill a co-ed". He also begins to fight the supernatural, facing Matt Helms and Cloe Walsh.
Sylvia organizes a battle royale with twelve assassins, including Travis. Dr. Letz Shake kills all of the other assassins but Travis immediately, revealing that he had frozen Henry in carbonite. After Travis rescues Henry, he meets Shinobu, who now idolizes him and calls him “Master.” At Sylvia's request, she fought and defeated Million Gunman and New Destroyman for Travis. Shinobu advances on Travis, but he turns her away because he feels "like the pervy teacher in a porn". Rejected, she steps out. Travis fights a grueling battle against Ryuji. Travis crows triumphantly after Ryuji concedes, but Sylvia kills him in cold blood, criticizing Travis for showing mercy. Henry, suffering from hibernation sickness, fights Mimmy in a nightmare before awakening. He reconciles with Travis and kills the next three assassins for him. Travis fights Margaret Moonlight, a gothic lolita, and Captain Vladimir, a cosmonaut, and convinces Sylvia not to destroy the latter's body. After defeating ascetic Alice Twilight, the penultimate assassin, he decides he's fed up with the ranked battles and the UAA. He berates Sylvia, insisting that assassins are human and that they shouldn't have to die for entertainment like it's some kind of video game. He promises to tear down the UAA after defeating Jasper. Travis fights his way through the Pizza Bat headquarters to meet Jasper in his office. Jasper reveals that he was seeking revenge for his father and two brothers, the Pizza Bat CEOs Travis killed in the first game. Henry enters and helps Travis defeat him. After defeating his second form, Jasper becomes a giant parade balloon, which Henry refuses to fight. This final form is destroyed after Travis leaps out the window and slices it in half. Sylvia, riding Travis's motorcycle, catches him and drops him off at his motel.

Like its predecessor, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an action platformer set in space. Platforming takes place between worlds, known as galaxies. Mario can move between smaller examples of these by jumping. He can also embark on longer jaunts via a small steerable planet in the shape of Mario’s head, but as a new twist he can also move into and through planets as well using the new drill mechanism. This allows for both a new direction in action as well as an opening to problem-solving and coin collection. Players can expect the return of a variety of powerups from the original game including Bee and Boo Mushrooms, but also many that are new varieties including the Rock Mushroom that temporarily turns Mario into a rock that can smash through barriers. Another key change to gameplay is the ability for Mario to join with his pal Yoshi. Once Mario hatches Yoshi from his egg he can ride him through a variety of scenarios. Yoshi’s particular reaction to specific powerups makes for fun with gravity. For example, when Yoshi eats a “Dash Pepper” he is able to move at hyper speed allowing the pair to literally run up the side of walls. Also, after eating a Blimp Fruit power-up Yoshi can swells up and floats like a blimp, taking Mario with him to areas of the game otherwise unreachable.

Attack of the Movies 3D transports players to six fantastic movie-themed worlds where they will battle large alien space cruisers, shoot underwater monsters, join the resistance against the machines and more. Packaged with four pairs of 3D glasses to support four-player multiplayer action, and featuring classic enemies culled from the annals of film history, this inspired 3D shooter jumps right out of your television and into your living room
Attack of the Movies is a rail shooter where each level is themed around a genre of film, usually a monster movie. For instance one of the levels we played was a city being attacked by giant insects. It's a pretty basic game. Whatever enemies is in the level fly and run at the screen, and players shoot the crap out of it by pointing the Wii remote at the screen and pressing the A button. Shaking the Wii Remote reloads the gun. Player's reticule shows on screen so they can see where to aim. The game moves through the environments almost constantly. In the giant bug level we ran in and out of buildings, through the streets, and eventually to a helicopter which took us up into the air (before it crashed back down in a fiery wreck). All the while we were shooting giant ants, stink bugs, and flies, before fighting off a gigantic scorpion. There was also a space ship level, Cosmic Combat, where we were apparently a starship of some sort. There we had to shoot down other ships, along with enemy turrets and eventually a huge armor plated energy sphere. We flew in and out of space stations and through trenches ala the attack on the Death Star in Star Wars. As the level goes through there are health packs and weapons that players can pick up. The upgraded weapons are limited use, but they pack a much bigger punch than the standard pistol. The game is actually pretty challenging on hard, so grabbing those health packs becomes essential to survival.
The 3D in the game uses those red and blue glasses, which at least fits with the retro theme even if it makes games look ugly. If you don't mind the colors being shifted to acid trip mode the 3D is kind of cool. Enemies that pop up in the foreground actually look like they're right up against the screen. Overall though it feels more like a gimmick, so we're glad the game defaults to not using it. The game seems pretty fun so far. There are four levels we haven't tried, including a horror themed one with zombies, and a Terminator-esque robot one. The multiplayer makes it a lot more entertaining since in addition to fighting all the enemies, you're also fighting each other to grab the powerups and health packs. Each level also has some unique weapons.

Blur follows a career mode where the story plays out through email messages sent through numerous fictional social networks, many of which reference more famous online services such as 'Inner Tube'. Here, the player will encounter numerous characters and many licensed cars ranging from Dodge Vipers to Lotus Exiges to Ford Transit vans fitted with F1 engines, all of which have full damage modelling, a shield bar which can be used at any time by the player to protect the player's car from other weapons, and separate traits such as Acceleration, Speed, Drift, Grip and Stability. Some special car models have been designed by Bizarre Creations themselves. There are also some heavily altered versions of familiar urban environments, such as the Los Angeles river halfpipe and several parts of London. These areas were altered to make the races more enjoyable instead of the developers having to strictly abide by each twist and turn. Depending on the character(s) the player races against or tags along with in team races, they will have their own racing styles, power-up set ups, match types, locales, cars and will be apart of certain fictional servers. As the player races well, performs stunts and uses power-ups in certain ways during races, the player will gain 'fan points', Blur's equivalent to PGR's Kudos system. These points help the player progress through the career, purchase more cars and parts and earn more fans for the user base. During the career, challenges will take place midrace when the player drives through a fan icon. Completing these short challenges (e.g. find a secret nitro power-up) will reward the player with a fan points boost.
